YELVERTON Tennis Club have a successful junior section — which coached by Roger Froud — enters a team in the  Plymouth and District U18 League.  Following promotion last season into division two, the team are currently unbeaten at the top and are now looking forward to a second successive promotion. The junior format involves three players each match with the Yelverton tennis squad consisting of Matt Smith, Matt and Tom Chiappe, James Watt and Lucy Scott.   On Sunday between 10am and 4 pm the club is looking forward to hosting the Lawn Tennis Association Great British Tennis weekend when a free fun day of activity can be enjoyed by anyone who would like to come along, It is for any age or ability with Roger providing the coaching.
