ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club a two to count Stableford competition for the Ted Browne Challenge Trophy was held. The winners of division one and the Ted Browne Challenge trophy were Alan Searle, Gary Carey and Lee Pengelly with 81 points. Second with 80 points were Alan Hawking, Fred Scott-Lawson and Allen Deakin, closely followed in third position by Andrew Parry, Robin Webb and Nick Atkinson with 79 points. Division two was won by Alan Lawson, Paul Alford and Bryan Evans with 78 points on the back nine from, in second Ron Copeland, Mike Davis and Richard Goodger. Third place was awarded to Paul MacDonald, Michael MacDonald and Barry Ratcliffe with 75 points.
