HANNAH Colston from Tavistock Triathlon Club visited Spain this week and took part in the Grand Fondo, part of the Girona cycling festival.

She cycled 125km in very warm conditions with several sections of hard climbing.

Hannah finished in 4 hours 28 minutes and secured third lady on the podium.

Also on the weekend fellow club members Nicky Deane-Simmons and Lindsey Hobbs took part in the South Hams Triathlon. A 750m sea swim, followed by a 20km hilly bike ride and then 5km run.

Nicky came second in her age group and Lindsey came 10th.
