ON November 8 the monthly Armada Athletics Network 3k race took place in Central Park, Plymouth.

It was the final race in the Armada Grand Prix Series – Armada Network consists of running and athletic clubs in the south west Devon area including ones from Tavistock AC.

Runners competing in the Armada Club races gain points towards the Grand Prix.

The race itself is a fast and furious affair held over a short 3k, but hilly and poorly lit course in Plymouths’ Central Park.

Seven athletes from Tavistock made the journey with some running friends for company. They rounded their road running season off nicely with this race.
