MATT Edwards and Kieran Rookes of Tavistock Swimming Club competed in the ASA South West Region Youth Championships at the Life Centre in Plymouth.

Kieran produced a good swim in the 100m breaststroke in his 15 years age group. Club captain Matt competed in six events in the 17 and over age group, producing good swims in all his events and achieving a first place in the 1,500m freestyle.
