TAVISTOCK Area Support Services will be one of many locations around the world where people will gather to practise Tai Chi and Qi Gong.
All over the world in more than 80 countries people will gather at exactly 10am on Saturday, April 26.
Chi and Qi Gong is said to be helpful for many things from recovering from injury or surgery. Short term gains include improved balance, calmness, lowered blood pressure; long term gains could be increased focus, increased immune systems, general health, help towards type two diabetes, adhd and depression, as well as joint problems.
The Tavistock event has been organised by Bob Harrisson-Daniels who encourages all to visit and take part.
He said: 'We want everyone to come and join in from curious people, Tai Chi enthusiasts, health and sport individuals and others but also to support TASS for their work around the community.'
• For further information contact Bob Harrisson-Daniels on 07949763256 or contact TASS on 01822 616958.
