BOTH Tavistock AFC matches were cancelled last weekend due to waterlogged pitches at Ivybridge and Plymouth Parkway.

The first match in the new year is on Saturday when the first team entertain last years champions and this years Carlsberg South West Peninsula premier league leaders Bodmin Town at Langsford Park, with a 3pm kick-off.

Bodmin are having an excellent season and are to be congratulated on reaching the fourth round of the FA Vase.

Derek Pethick, on behalf on Tavistock AFC, said: 'We wish them every success in this competition. The Lambs will have to be at their very best in order to get a result from this match.'

Tavistock AFC Reserves are away to Morwenstow with a 2.30pm kick-off.
