CONGRATULATIONS to Tavistock Athletics Club juniors Joe Wheeler, Max Port and Matthew Jenkins, Bea Kinnear, Ella Whitford, Sorrell Hickman and Nicolas Maczugowski, who have been selected to represent Devon in the forthcoming Sportshall regional finals which take place at Torbay Leisure Centre next weekend.

They were all part of the small team that travelled to the Plymouth Life Centre this weekend for the fourth round of the Sportshall League.

Joe Wheeler continued his superb run of form this season with another clean sweep of wins in his three events — the two and four lap races and vertical jump.

Fellow U13 Max Port and U11 teammate Nicolas Maczugowski continue to dominate in their respective standing triple jump events where Nicolas managed to match his personal best and club record. Nicolas also matched his club record in winning the high jump.

U11 Bea Kinnear continued her run of success with another win in the vertical jump.
