FOUR runners from Tavistock Athletic Club travelled to Torbay for the regatta weekend last month.

On a lovely summer’s evening 700 runners took part with Tavistock’s Jim Cole taking second place in a time of 33 minutes - a superb achievement.

The second TAC was Neil Barkell just a minute behind and the third club representative was Peter Bazley in 47 minutes.

Fourth, and first lady with a superb personal best for the distance, was Tracey Ann Cole in 48 minutes.
