IF you thought cricket was a sedate sport which takes all day just to end in a draw then perhaps the T20/20 version will bowl you over as a spectator sport.

Eight teams, including Sticklepath, the first time winners of the West Devon Championship T20 last week, will be competing in the West Devon T20 Premiership Competition on Sunday, July 15 at the Ring, Tavistock Cricket Club.

The draw: 10.30am Tavistock v Whitchurch; 11.45am Yelverton v Sticklepath; 1pm Whitchurch v Bridestowe;  2.15pm Yelverton v Lewdown; 3.30pm Tavistock v Bridestowe; 4.45pm Lewdown v Sticklepath; final 6pm.
