THERE were idyllic weather conditions at Okehampton Golf on Saturday when a two to count Stableford competition was held.

The winners of division one with a superb score of 83 points were Pete Kiss, Lee Carey and Paul Prouse. Second were Roger Wools, Dave Bickle and Will Potts with 79pts and in third, with 77pts, were Graham Moysey, Alan Mann and Paul Rattenbury.

Division two was won by the team comprising of Steve Pike, Sid Sanders and Nick Godfrey who came in with 80 points. Dave Lawson, Alan Lawson and James Etheridge were second with 78 pts and third Bob McDowell, Brian Fishleigh and Aaron West on 76pts.

In the Ladies April Medal the winner in the silver division was Jane Warren with net 76. The bronze division winner was Janice Thwaites with net 71, second was Sue Stanbury with net 75 and third was Jenni Hutchinson net 76.

Last Thursday in cold and windy weather the ladies team lost their match against Tavistock away in the third round of the Mail on Sunday competition.
