Okehampton A 1 – 8 Victoria Park A

Okehampton Men's A team continue to find the going tough in top division of the Exeter and District League. Andy Herrod-Taylor and Dan Arnot pushed both Victoria Park pairs hard but came away with only one set, losing 7-6, 3-6, 6-10 and 7-6, 6-2. David Carter and Dave Atallah, playing together for the first time fought gallantly but to no avail going down 1-6, 1-6 and 2-6, 0-6.

Okehampton B 3 – 6 Budleigh Salterton B

Okehampton Men's B Tennis Team suffered their first defeat of the season by 6 sets to 3 against a strong Budleigh Salterton side. John and Stuart Jarvis dropped their first point this year in a long gruelling 3 set match against the deep hitting, solid volleying opposition top pairing.

However, Okehampton are still very much in the hunt for the league title with 4 matches left to play.
