NIGEL Eadie and Tony Bondy were the victors at Tavistock Squash and Racketball Club's monthly night competition.

The doubles competition had four teams play each other, hoping to gain the highest total points. There were a couple of players new to doubles but once everyone got there eye in there was plenty of close action, with every team winning at least a couple of games.

Nigel and Tony proved a good match, however, and won all six of their games to win the competition by a comfortable margin, with Colin Grice and Joe Kuipers in second.

A racketball team competition is on Monday, April 14.

With Britain now having both the men's and women's world champions at squash, it is hoped more people, particularly juniors, will look at the sport, which is great fun and a great way to stay fit.
