A CYCLE ride to Plymouth and back in fancy dress by the Tavistock Ladies Football Club members raised around £1,000 for the team. The team (pictured by James Bird)— Lauren Schuttkacker, Robyn Hammond, Gemma Small, Laura Phillip, Kirsty Jones, Sarah Martin, Rebecca McMullin, Carleigh Bammens, Jessica Eales, Gail McMullin and Luke Boyce (Carleigh's boyfriend) —left Tavistock just before 11am and travelled through Yelverton, Clearbrook, Plymbridge Woods to Saltram onto the Barbican and the Hoe. The group cycled back via Drake's Trail. It was a tough and challenging event but everyone agreed it was a great team building exercise and team spirit was high throughout.
