IN the Tavistock Snooker League Conservative A booked their place in the semi-finals of the Jack May KO Cup with a solid 3-0 win over West Devon A.
A 31 and a 22 clearance from Cook was enough to beat Emptage with Bell removing Heathman to put the Con |A two up.
Con A's Longden battled to the deciding win over an obstinate Hall and with it an 'early bath' for West Devon.

League runners up Tavy A were stunned as Conservative B edged them out 3-2 in a real tussle.
Dolan played a superb frame to beat Tavy's Stewart only for Ryall to pull it level as he stomped all over Con B's Lillicrap. Grylls put Tavy in front after a hard battle with Evans only to find it was all square next frame as Con B's McKechnie did a sound demolition job on Hoar.
Monk for the Con Bs inflicted the heaviest defeat of the season on Hicks to take his team through.
West Devon B beat West Devon C to reserve their place in the cup semi finals. Roger Rich was too strong for Elliott before Hodge levelled with a solid win over Bath.
John Rich made it 2-1 for the WD B team with a hard fought battle against Williams, followed up by a resounding 66-19 win from Jack May as he steamrollered Shrimpton to make it 3-1 for the B team and with it the match.
