TAVISTOCK Squash and Racketball Club held its main non handicapped annual tournament over the last couple of months with final of the plate competition held on May 1.

The plate was won by Simon Powell who beat Maggie Lilley in the final. Despite a 3-0 score line Maggie played some excellent shots and had a chance of taking a 1-0 lead. Maggie's trademark drops and boasts kept Simon on his toes for the whole match.
