YELVERTON Tennis Club's fun tournament attracted an impressive turnout for its first event of the year. This social gathering was enjoyed by non-playing members as well as players and saw mixed matches, interspersed with refreshments and a glass of wine. The overall winners, Mike Shaw and Angie Lynch, were presented with prizes by the tournament organiser Lynne MacFarlane.

The thriving, friendly tennis club welcomes new players of all standards and any age – why not come along for a 'taster' and join in our club sessions on Wednesday and Friday evenings at 6 pm?

The club also has regular coaching sessions for all abilities and ages, provided by a professional coach. Yelverton Tennis Club has three ladies' teams in the Plymouth and district League and two mens' teams. The new second men's team will be starting in the lowest division so would be ideal for anyone wanting to improve their game.
