YELVERTON Golf Club ladies played a two day Stableford competition in some dreadful wet and windy conditions.

The winner of the Salz trophy with 57 points was Sally Hills. The Emerson cup went to runner-up Helen Harris who scored 49 points.

The trophies were given by Bunty Salz and Rosemary Emerson, lady captains in 1965 and 1957 respectively.
