FOR the thirteenth year Chillaton is holding its annual family fun run and walk on Sunday, July 13, meeting at the square in Chillaton from 11am for an 11.30am start. The event is open to all ages to run, jog, walk or plod. The route will take you through the quiet lanes around Chillaton — and gives all a chance to meet new friends and old for a companionable walk— or spice it up with a race against friends. All children taking part will receive a medal and proceeds after expenses are donated to a local charity. To take part in this great village event just turn up on the day to register; the entry fee is £2 for adults, £1 for children and 50p for dogs. The Chichester Arms will be open to provide refreshments before and after the event.
