IN near perfect conditions for this fixture Tavistock were quick to get into their stride and opened the scoring early by some powerful, straight running by Brandon.
The home team could do little to stem the onslaught and determination of Tavistock, who played to their strengths, namely committing the defence and passing the ball without getting caught up in rucks and mauls.
Tavistock have, in the past, been guilty of bunching and not running onto the ball at pace but there were definite signs of improvement in this department. Tavistock have certainly improved in their tackling skills, which made progress for the home team difficult. In the scrum Callum was winning many against the head.
There were further scores in the first half by Luke, Eddy (2 ), Mack and Barney H while the home side scored two of their own.
The second half was more even and appeared not to be played at the same intensity. There were two tries scored by each team. The visitors who made the score sheet were Matthew D and James L.

The Sharks just could not see any way through this imposing Tavistock line-up, who played so well together as a team. James refused to be taken down, slipping through the fingers of the Sharks defence twice to race half the length of the pitch to score.
