THIS was not such a mauling for an understrength Tavistock team as the score against the league leaders, Falmouth, suggests.

Captain Andy Schuttkacker scored an early try for the Red and Blacks under the posts for the home side, which Webber duly converted. However, it was the visitors who began to dominate hereafter.

The only consulation for Tavistock was a late try by Ben Hadfield and another conversion by Webber.
