ALL three age groups played at Tavistock Rugby Club on Sunday afternoon, despite the inclement weather.

The U13s played against a combined Exeter/Exmouth side and lost 30-5 with Alice Mills-Hicks scoring the home side's try.

The U15s beat Exmouth in their first match but lost to Plymouth Albion in their second.

The U18s (pictured right below in red shirts) joined with three Newquay and three Liskeard girls to take on Plymouth Albion. This was a tough and even game but Albion ran out eventual winners, with three converted tries to Tavistock's two unconverted. Final score 10-21.

Tavistock has had three players selected for South West England. Jo Abel, Bethany Hodgkiss and Lauren Dawe travelled to Bath for the trials and were selected – Jo for the U18s and Bethany and Lauren for the U15s.

This is the official RFUW pathway that can lead to the girls playing for their country. They were put forward for selection by Devon county coaches.
