TAVISTOCK Reserves had a good win at Morwenstow to take them into second position in the league.

A fine hat-trick from Ian Rooke gave the

Lambs a well deserved victory. He scored all his goals in the first half to give the visitors a comfortable lead.  The home team missed a golden opportunity to reduce the deficit before the interval when they were awarded a penalty, but Keith Cornish failed to convert the spot kick, for the first time in two seasons.

Morwenstowe played much better in the second period and the game was a much closer contest.

The Lambs defence looked sound and the home team could only reduce the arrears mid way through the half when Nick Percell scored.

Tavistock Reserves comfortably saw out  the remainder of the game to record another fine victory.
