SPOONERS and West Dartmoor Pony Club did West Devon proud at the National Pony Club Novice Eventing Championships in Cheshire.

Emma Manton was first out of 41 in her arena finishing on her dressage score of 29.6 and Lucy Scott finished fifth in her arena of 41, with a dressage score of 29.6 plus two cross country time penalties.

Lamerton also flew the flag for West Devon finishing tenth in the team competiton.
