ATHLETES from across Mount Kelly have been involved in a true festival of athletics this week, involving three separate events competing at local, district and regional level.

The performance of the athletes has been exceptional with a total of 14 school and event records broken, some of which have stood for more than 20 years.

As a result of their performances, 15 Mount Kelly athletes have qualified to attend the National Championships at Alexander Stadium in Birmingham, the home of British athletics, later this month.
