KELLY College Swim Squad sent 26 swimmers to the ASA South West regional short course championships held at Millfield School.

Paralympian Hannah Russell (16), who broke her own British record (S12) in the 100m freestyle in Sheffield last month, broke the record yet again with a time of 60.88. Hannah then went on to record a time of 2.12.16 in the 200m (S12) freestyle which broke the British, European and world record. Hannah also won six gold medals at the meet.

There were 10 new Kelly College age group records: Chloe Barrow 1.05.46 in the 14 year old 100m fly — this record had stood for nearly 13 years. Cara Layden 2.26.09 in the 13 year old 200m backstroke; Milly Furneaux, 33.61 in the 16 year old 50m breaststroke, 1.11.62 in the 100m breaststroke and 2.37.80 in the 200m breaststroke; Stephanie Reynolds 1.02.97 in the 17 year old 100m backstroke and 2.20.52 in the 200m individual medley; Oliver Willis 26.90 in the 17 year old 50m backstroke; Nikita Ivanov 27.16 in the 15 year old 50m fly and George Humphrey 2.23.58 in the 17 year old 200m breaststroke.

Medallists were Milly Furneaux, Nikita Ivanov, Michael Jones, Leah Picillo, Steph Reynolds, Hannah Russell and Ollie Willis.
