TEAMS from Exbourne, Lydford, Bridestowe, St Peter’s, St Andrew’s, Horrabridge, Mary Tavy and Brentor, Lamerton and Milton Abbot took part in West Devon Primary Schools/OCRA bouldering competition which took place at Milton Abbot Climbing Barn last Thursday.
The children had a great time, with much noise being made and many personal challenges exceeded.
The winning team was Lamerton, with Milton Abbot runners up and St Andrew’s third. Individual winners – boys: 1, Robert from Milton Abbot, 2, Rowan from Horrabridge, 3, Patrick from Lamerton; girls, 1, Anna from Horrabridge, 2, Amy from St Andrew’s and 3, Holly from Milton Abbot.
Organisers thanked Brian, Joe and Naomi of the Climbing Barn and Paddy the St Bernard.
