OKEHAMPTON Smallbore Club held an open meeting (competition) for lightweight sport rifle, sport air pistol and 10m air pistol at their indoor range, with classes held during the two days.
The sport course consists of precision and duelling. Precision was 30 shots at 25m — fired in six series with each series being five shots; five minutes are allowed for each series of 5 shots. Duelling was 30 shots at 25m. Again fired in six series, each of five shots, however the target is exposed for just four seconds when the shooter has to aim, hold and fire one shot, then the target is turned away for 10 seconds.
