OKEHAMPTON Otters Swimming and Life Saving Club hosted the Dartmoor Sprint Gala which several clubs attended.

The event, which is in its second year, was a great success from start to finish.

Okehampton Otters had a team of 23 swimmers taking part. The Otters performed superbly - competing in more than 90 events and achieving 53 personal best times, with several Otters taking home medals.

Head coach, David Dennis, said that’ it was a fantastic event’ and was full of praise for all the swimmers.

The gala was organized and run by Okehampton Otters and Tavistock Swimming Club. All the swimmers had a wonderful day and the Otters are already looking forward to their next event.
