GETTING into the Olympic spirit were students from Tavistock College. Youngsters from all years at the school took part in the inter-house sports day on July 17 — competing in events from the 200m run to the high jump.

As last year's sports day saw 20 new school records being made, students were keen to set the standards even higher in 2012 for this Olympic year.
