AT Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday in beautiful winter sunshine a four-ball better ball Stableford competition was held.

The winners of division one were Matt Soby and Paul Prouse with 39 points; second went to Evan Rees and Graham Starkey with 37; Paul Rattenbury and Alan Grimshaw came third with 36 after countback from, in fourth Bob Davies and Nicholas Heath.

The second division was won by Derek Wildash and Robert Reddington with 41 points. Kevin Harding and Roger Slack were second with 37 points; Roger Wools and John Birch with 33 were third on the back nine from, in fourth Lewis Parry and Sam Woollacott.
