OKEHAMPTON Argyle U9s entertained near neighbours Crediton and Moors Youth of Tiverton on Sunday.

ARGYLE soon got into their passing rhythm and finding space ona tricky surface to play on. After a couple of minutes Oke opened the scoring through Connor Madge. Connor soon notched up his hat -trick by half time and two by Cowan Wilson made it 5-0 at half time.

With some changes the fresh legs helped to notch up another five goals. The impressive Harry Pope, Tom Walsh with a a cool strike, Conner Madge and another from Cowan Wilson for his hat-trick were the scorers.

Crediton's young playmaker in the middle hit a great solo strike to make sure the score was not a whitewash, the match was finally settled with a Harry Camies strike which rounded off what was an outstanding performance from this young side.

Moors Youth U10s 1

TIVERTON were difficult for Argyle to break down, with the Moors putting everybody behind the ball to try to stiffle the hosts.

It was Harry Pope for Argyle that broke the deadlock, which was quickly followed by a Cowan Wilson strike to put Argyle 2-0 up. Crediton replied but Argyle victory was assured with another fine strike from the ever impresive Cowan Wilson.

This was a great squad performance and should keep the side top of  the Mid Devon league .
