A CHALLENGE from Bere Alston captain Will Westlake saw him red carded after 25 minutes.

The referee then sent off Alec Lowe and a St Dominick player for bad language. This was not the last dismissal as Nathan Blamey for Bere Alston was sent off, this time from the dugout.

The second half was more football than the first. In the 47th minute, Wayne Smalley hesitated to give a Saints' player a free header for the winner. James Follett then went off injured for the visitors.

Bere Alston peppered the Saints' goal with the ball being cleared off the line but could not find the equaliser.
