THE came out to shine on North Tawton Ladies in their final game of the play-offs for this season. However  St Mary's were short in numbers and the game had to be played with uncontested scrums.

Playing 13 a side play was open from the off, but North Tawton seemed anxious spilt some early ball. Eventually they got into their game and Clara Nielson broke through to score under the posts for Dawn Avery to convert. 

An excellent run from prop Avery and a pass to Jo McBain saw North Tawton score their second although Avery missed the conversion.

An excellent run by Neilson saw her cut through the defence and good back up play allowed McBain in for her second. 

Nearly on the stroke of half time St Mary's scored a try - leaving the score at half time 19-5 to North Tawton.

McBain started the second half by completing her hat-trick.  Hayley Hopkins then scored one of her trademark tries, running from full back through the St Mary's defence to score under the posts which Avery converted.  Tasha Currie playing at number nine broke through from the scrum to score which again Avery converted. 

Hopkins then ran in her second try which was converted by Avery.    This was another excellent season by the North Tawton ladies.
