ON the back of their defeat last week Falcons pulled out all the stops in this match.

FBI has had a great season so far winning all their matches, so Falcons were not in for an easy ride. However, at the end of the first quarter, Falcons found themselves leading by seven goals. Despite some good moves around the court, Falcons defence denied FBI shooters the opportunities to convert the shots.

Falcons continued to build on their lead and although FBI played some excellent netball they had left themselves too much to do and Falcons took the match with a comfortable margin.

Halwill 34

Sparks 25

WITH both teams winning all their matches this season this was always going to be an evenly matched game.

Sparks started well, however the Halwill defence closed down the shooting opportunities and with Halwill's GA Laura James on good form, Sparks began to lose some momentum.

Sparks seemed unsettled and Halwill took advantage and began to pull ahead. In the last quarter Sparks rallied but had left it too late with Halwill winning the match by nine goals.
