EARLY play did not bode well for a good afternoon and through several forward infringements gave away a penalty right in front of the posts giving Paignton an early 3-0 lead.

However this galvinised North Tawton who started their scoring with a great worked try made by Tasha Currie and scored by Clara Nielson, who also converted.  North Tawton backs then swung into action on a pitch made for running rugby.  Hayley Hopkins scored the next two from full back.

Constant infringments then put North Tawton on the back foot when Sam Eggins got a yellow card and Vicki Mardon came off with a knee injury. 

Lottie Trerise for Tawton weeved another great line to score again leaving the score at 24 -3 at half time.

From the kick off the backs ran again at a tiring Paignton team with Hayley scoring two more and a good strong run try from Tasha Currie.  Captain Clare Hooper then scored another from a penalty on the five metre line before Paignton scored their only try.  Two more tries finished North Tawton's great afternoon from centre Gemma and Clara.  A great whole team effort and this week no one player can be singled out North Tawton left Paignton 58 - 8 winners.
