AS the 2013 season gradually winds down at Tavistock Golf Club the ladies played their annual Poultry Stableford. 

There was a full field for this popular event which, this year, was played over 12 holes. 

In the silver division Bridget Luckham was first with 23 points on countback from Roma McMahon and Dawn Phillott. 

June Kendall was first in bronze division one with 24pts, second Sybil Cole with 23pts on countback from Gail Reed. Barbara Chalk topped bronze division two with 25pts, second Jenny Kay with 22 pts on countback from Mags Berry.

There was tight scoring in the men's monthly medal.  Tim Hawkins was first in division one with a nett 70, second Mark Russell with nett 71 on countback from Graham Ruth and Adam Bridgewater. 

In division two Paul Vickers had a nett 69 on countback from Barry Milligan, third was Darren Sturman with nett 71.  Danny Brockington was first in division three with nett 71, on countback from Tim Baskerville and Tommy Rawlinson.  In the second round of the Winter League, organised by club professional Glenn Richards, Max Clarke and George Gawman were first in division one with 47pts. Mike Apps and Tony McLeary topped division two with 42pts, Barry Milligan and Andy Rich had 40pts in division three and, first in division four, were Paul Vickers and Steve Fowler with 42pts.

In the junior intermediates' Stableford (handicap 36 and below) played over nine holes, Callum Boon played seven under his handicap when he scored 26 pts.  Tom White and Tom Wood also scored well both with 20 pts.
