THE first two athletics tournaments of the season took place last week and involved Mount Kelly pupils.

On Sunday the school’s athletes in Years 4-8 competed in a tournament at King’s College, Taunton bringing home 22 medals across the 40 events entered. 

Later in the week Mount Kelly’s Years 7-9 athletes were in action at the Plymouth and West Devon Schools’ trials at Brickfields, Plymouth, with eight pupils qualifying to represent West Devon later this summer at the Exeter Arena.
