A NUMBER of swimmers from Tavistock Swimming Club competed in the Aquae Sulis Grands Prix at Hengrove Park Leisure Centre in Bristol.

These swimmers achieved the qualifying times to compete in this top level gala and did themselves and the club proud with great swims, achieving numerous personal best times.

Several medals were also won — Hannah Chitty, bronze in the 50 metre butterfly; Kieran Rookes, silver 50m breastroke and Nathaniel Rookes, silver 50m backstroke.

Club member Hannah Walker also recently competed in the City of Bristol level one meet and with excellent swimming won a bronze medal in each of the 50m and 100m backstroke events.
