TAVISTOCK Squash and Racketball Club holds various annual competitions and the final of this year's racketball trophy was held on Saturday.

The final was played between Mike Benstead and Simon Powell.

Mike got off to a strong start establishing a 2-0 lead before Simon came back to win the next two games, taking the match to a decider.

The final game included some long rallies with both players determined to win, but Mike quickly built up a commanding lead and this proved too much for Simon, with Mike keeping his head to see out the match and win the competition.
