SUNDAY’s Devon County Cross Championships saw Tavistock Athletic Club pick up a whopping 10 medals at Exeter.
With three individual golds, one silver and three bronze medals to add to the two silver and one bronze team medal, the club were delighted with their haul.
The Exeter race, held on parkland adjoining Exeter Arena, is combined with the Westward League, so racing is always competitive on the testing hilly, twisting course.
Tavistock AC again had a strong turnout of 46 athletes across the different age groups. The club were delighted to welcome back Heather Fell for her first race in a few years and also Richard Drage who is recovering from long term injury.
