MARY Tavy man Martin Heal undertook the Padstow to Rock swim for Marie Curie Cancer Care for the second year running this July, raising £555 in sponsorship money for the charity.
Marie Curie Cancer Care provides high quality nursing, totally free, to give people with terminal cancer and other illnesses the choice of dying at home, supported by their families.
Martin said: 'It was a challenging swim this year with strong winds pushing against the incoming tide and I was pleased to achieve a time of 31 minutes and to raise funds for such a worthwhile cause.'
