IN the Okehampton and district ladies netball league top of the table Hi Line beat Dodgers 53-18.

After the first quarter the Dodgers only trailed by four goals. The pressure increased on them when Dodgers GS Tania Attewell went off injured and despite Dodgers best efforts and a credible performance from Lyn Piper as shooter they were no match for the excellent Hi Line team.

Magpies 50 beat Jammie Dodgers 49. Just one point separated the two teams in a close contest. Jammie Dodgers led for the majority of the game and it was only in the final moments that Magpies snatched the victory.

Jesters beat Bradford Belles 63-27. Belles finished the first quarter only four goals behind Jesters. In the second they lost their way slightly and Jesters took advantage to increase their lead by 12 goals. Despite Belles best efforts and a good final quarter Jesters were the stronger team.

n IN the Junior Netball League division one the teams played held their end of season tournament. All the teams were evenly matched but it was Shebbear College Lions just had the edge and played a brilliant tournament to take first place.

This years player of the tournament went to Katherine Petch from LOLX with medals going to Charlotte Bullingham (Originalz) and the Shebbear centre as the players from their individual teams.

The first division league was won this year by Originalz who had played a great season winning all their matches with some fantastic netball. Player of the season went to Millie Hyams also from Originalz.
