Lewdown v Thorveton

HOSTS Lewdown were in good form against Thorveton and strengthened their top of the table position with a win.

They posted a respectable 235-7 with honours shared among the batsmen. Gary Sizmur on 40, M Marais 48, M Jordan 40, M Witcher 30 and P Yeo all maded worthy contributions.

Despite a gallant 85 by G White for the visitors thanks to three wickets for Marais and two each for Yeo, Hughes and Ball, Thorveton were skittled out for 184.

Lewdown, 20 points, beat Thorveton, 7pts, by 51 runs.
