Tavistock v Lewdown LEWDOWN were very much on top against local rivals Tavistock coming away from the ring with a comprehensive 144 run victory.

With the visitors batting first Harris (57), Mutch (44) and Jordan (74) all made healthy contributions to the Lewdown total of 282-5. Only Hutchins made some impression among the Tavistock bowlers with figures of 2-51.

Despite a knock of 33 by Churchill Tavistock were never really in the running and were bowled out for 138. Mutch added to his prowess with the bat by taking 3-38.

Lewdown earned 20 points to Tavistock's four.
