Lamerton 1
LAMERTON'S winless streak continues after this narrow defeat to the hands of St Columb Major who have moved a step closer to securing their place in the Duchy Premier for next season.
The game started at a frantic pace, but it was not until the 25th minute that the game produced its first shot on target, resulting in a goal for the hosts. Major midfielder Dan Ball picked up posession from a loose pass 30 yards from the Lamerton goal. Ball instantly hit a ferocious dipping effort which left Lamerton goalkeeper Pete Daniel a mere spectator as the ball hit the back of the net.
