HOT on the heels of the Leeds United game, Tavistock AFC are pleased to announce that Plymouth Argyle will be playing the Lambs at Langsford Park on Friday, August 3 with a 7.30am kick-off.
Tickets will be available for sale from Saturday, July 21 from Active Co, Dartprint Limited, Tavy Cycles, Tavistock Hire and Turners of Roborough. Tickets, which are priced at £8 and £5 for grandstand tickets (adult and concessions) and £5 and £3 for pitchside (adult and concessions), can also be bought online, via ww.tavistockfc.com
Unlike the Leeds United match on Monday, July 23, spectators can pay at the turnstile on matchday. Please see website for more information. Fans are reminded that the Leeds United game is all ticket, so to avoid the possibility of disappointment on not being able to obtain a ticket, please purchase from the aforementioned locations, as soon as possible.
Ticket sales are going well for the game which is limited to a capacity of 2,500 for this game against the Championship side, who will be one of the contenders for promotion this season to the Premiership. Organisers advise fans to buy tickets as soon as possible. All tickets are cash only.
The Lambs have been drawn away to Dorset side Gillingham Town in the first extra preliminary of the Budweiser FA Cup, on Saturday, August 11.
The game, kicking-off at 3pm will be played Gillingham's ground in Dorset, Harding's Lane. Gillingham Town are in the Western League premier division, whereas the Lambs are members of the Carlsberg Southwest Peninsula premier League.
The clubs first home fixture is against Bovey Tracey on Wednesday, August 22 with a 7.30pm kick-off.
