KELLY College took 44 swimmers to compete in the second weekend of the Devon County Amateur Swimming Association's Championships held at Life Centre in Plymouth. Between them they had 192 swims, of which 136 were personal best times.

Among Kelly Performance Swimming achievements at the event were 86 regional qualifying times, 14 championship medals, four championship wins, 15 gold medals, 25 silvers, 18 bronze and four Devon records.

Tom McLagan (age 17) took silver in the men's 400m freestyle, with team mates Louis Gautier (16) and Harry Hathaway (17) claiming third and fourth respectively.

In the age group finals Jack Hutchin (12) took second, Taku Chaza (13) second, Nathan Linden (13) third, Finn Linton (14) second and Jake Bentley (14) third.

In the women's 200m freestyle, Steph Reynolds (18) took silver in the championship final in a time of 2.04.21, closely followed by Emily Cutler (15), who was junior champion in a time of 2.04.31. In the age group finals Rebecca Carpenter (11) was second, Cara Layden (14) first, Christy Gold (15) and Jessica Carpenter (16) third.

Laker Wong (17) claimed the 50m breaststroke championship title in a new Kelly College age group record of 30.27; Donovan McAntagart (16) was fourth and William Luckham-Down (15) eighth. Other medals came from Ben Staig (14) first and Russell Oliver (19) second. Natasha-lin Low (16) and Christy Gold (15) both made the 50m breaststroke championship final, finishing third and fifth respectively. Other medals came from Chloe Barrow (15) second, Ella Paddon (16) second and Jessica Carpenter (16) third. Louis Gautier (16) made the championship final of the 100 butterfly, finishing eighth.

Age group medals were won by Taku Chaza (13) first, Tom Brew (13) second, Nathan Linden (13) third, Ben Staig (14) first, Jake Bentley (14) third, Russell Oliver (19) first , Tom McLagan (17) second and Donovan McAntagart (16) third.

Kelly showed their dominance in the women's 200m butterfly where Steph Reynolds (18) took first, Chloe Barrow (15) second, Emily Cutler (15) third and Nina Giudici (15) fourth. Age group medals were won by Rebecca Carpenter (11) first, Victoria Moore (14) second, Millie Murdoch (15) first and Ella Paddon (16) second.

In the 200m IM, Steph Reynolds (18) broke a 30 year old Kelly College open record, posting a time of 2.14.64 to win the championship final. Emily Cutler (15) and Christy Gold (15) finished third and fifth respectively. Rebecca Carpenter (11) took silver and Cara Layden (14) third; Chloe Barrow (15) took gold and Jessica Carpenter (16) silver.

The men's 200 freestyle championship final saw Harry Hathaway (17) take silver and Louis Gautier (16) fifth. In the age group finals Jack Hutchin (12) took a silver medal, Taku Chaza (13) also claimed silver. Jake Bentley (14) was second and Donovan McAntagart (16) finished second in the open age group. Steph Reynolds (18) won the 100m backstroke in a time of 1.01.25 with Emily Cutler (15) fifth . In the age group finals, Rebecca Carpenter (11) took another gold; Cara Layden (14) claimed bronze, as did Nina Guidici (15).

In the men's 100m breaststroke, Laker Wong set a PB to finish second in the Championship final and Donovan McAntagart (16) fourth. Age group medals were won by Taku Chaza (13) first, Sasha Wavre (13) third, Ben Staig (14) first, Tom McLagan (17) first and Russell Oliver (19) second.

Natasha-lin Low finished sixth in the Women's 100 breaststroke while in the age group finals, Rebecca Carpenter (11) took her fifth medal of the weekend with a gold; Christy Gold (15) claimed silver and Ella Paddon (16) bronze.
