PEOPLE of all ages and abilities are welcome at Tavistock Community FC, which is looking for new players and volunteers for the 2012-13 season.

 The club holds training sessions every week on Tavistock College's all-weather pitch with FA qualified coaches.

It is particularly keen to attract year six schoolchildren and girls from years 10 and 11.

Volunteers are also needed to help run the club and there is funding to allow coaches to become FA qualified.

Neil Jordain, West Devon Borough Council's football development officer, said: 'Tavistock Community FC is a friendly and thriving organisation. The club is also running football holiday camps during October half term for children aged between 5-12. For the first time, there will also be a girls only camp.
