TAVISTOCK Triathlon Club member, Ollie Beilby, took part in the Ironman Staffordshire event last weekend.

With more than 2,500 entrants it was a popular event. Competitors had to swim 1.9km in a lake then cycle 90km and finish with a 21.1km run.

Ollie did exceptionally well and came 68th overall and seventh in his age group. His total time was 4 hours 47 minutes 43 seconds.
